Tapt Media’s talk network has taken out top Breakfast positions in Sydney and Melbourne, while retaining the overall market lead in Melbourne in GfK Radio 360 Survey 5 2026.
Tapt Media also leads the market in digital streaming, posting an enormous 20.8% year-on-year increase in listeners, as well as adding 33,000 streaming listeners on last survey – growing its commercial streaming share to 26.8% (up 0.3).
Across the survey period, Tapt Media recorded a total cumulative radio audience of 1.762 million listeners, representing almost 10% year-on-year growth
3AW: Melbourne’s Outright No.1 in Total Radio & Streaming
3AW continues its reign as Melbourne’s outright No.1 station with a 14.1 total radio share. On digital platforms, 3AW deepened its dominance with a 32.3% commercial streaming share (up 0.4) and more than triple its nearest competitor.
- Breakfast with Ross & Russ stands clear as Melbourne’s favourite Breakfast program, taking out the No.1 position across all radio competitors with a 20.1 total radio share and 43.9% commercial streaming share.
- Mornings with Tom Elliott also extended its winning streak as the outright No.1, with a 17.4 total radio share (up 1 point) and commercial streaming share of 37.6% (up 4.9).
2GB: Sydney’s No.1 for Breakfast and Streaming
2GB remains Sydney’s No.1 destination for talk, recording a 11.2 total radio share. Across digital platforms, the station consolidated its market lead with a 31.4% commercial streaming share.
- Ben Fordham Live remains Sydney’s outright No.1 Breakfast show, leading the market overall with a 14.8 total radio share and a massive surge of 32,000 listeners in digital streaming to a 46.9% commercial share (up 2.5).
- Mornings with Mark Levy is the No.1 in talk with a 13.3 total radio share and market-leading commercial streaming share of 35.8% (up 2.4).
